On my Acer I loaded norton Bootable recovery tool on USB. See in bios and opened it from boot. I ran scan. No threads and try reboot. Tool couldn't reboot my pc. I removed USB. But the Bootable tool opens every time I switch on my pc. How do I get back to bios or repair start up screen. 0:29

I've contacted these people and I said I don't want it because they just blow up my phone with stupid supposed viruses I don't have. I refuse to pay them but they keep blowing up my phone!! I'm so sick of this crap! How do I premently stop this bs?

Okay so if anyone is still having the problem of trying to delete backup files and turn off the cloud backup I think I figured it out, when it says repair on the drop down arrow you have to repair it, let it backup your files and then you're able to get into the backup settings. Here you can delete the DefaultSet ONLY if you have another one, if that's the only set it won't let you delete it from the MyNorton Backup settings. I think you can delete them by clicking the "Where" button and clicking "Delete files" at the bottom and then selecting which files you'd like to delete. However you can also get into the MyNorton online by signing in and going to backup settings, here you can view and delete all of the files saved on the backup. This was extremely confusing to me because even after supposedly deleting all my backed up files from the My Norton online website, they still remained on the application under "DefaultSet." So deleting them from both the online site and app is the only way to get rid of them I think. To turn the backup off entirely, you have to go into the My Norton app on your desktop, go into settings, select Launch View and switch to "Classic." Then x the program and re open to see it in Classic mode, from here you can go into backup settings and turn off the icons displayed on your files and turn off the backup entirely, then you go back into view settings and switch back to My Norton instead of classic. And now your backups should be deleted and the Cloud Backup should be off. Sorry if this was confusing, it took me hours to figure this out because Norton likes to make everything needlessly complicated. Hope it saves someone some time.

Hi friends, how do you uninstall this very boring and annoying Norton Download manager? I am not able..

Didn't work for me. Despite turning off auto-protect and the firewall, Norton stubbornly continued to block the last update of Traderworkstation. Tried again after restart and turning of Norton without success. Very annoying! Had to uninstall Norton. :(

It didn't work. I disabled both the Auto-Protect, and the Smart Firewall feature and Norton is still blocking the SAFE application I need to install. Fix your program Norton and let me install the application I need. I didn't pay you to stop me from working.

This is not what I see when I log into Norton. I have to get to social media monitoring by a back-door. When I receive a financial activity alert, I can thnenreview social media monitoring. Other than that, there is no way that I can see to access these options.
